Liz Long| Owner & Stylist

Liz grew up in the small, rural town of Knox, PA and spent most of her adult life living in Pittsburgh before briefly relocating to Louisville, KY, and most recently, Maryland. Chasing a passion for fashion and hairdressing most of her life, Liz was always being told by family and friends that she should become a stylist...she ignored it. After acquiring a bachelors degree in PR/Advertising and working for several years within the field, she realized that she should have listened. With the urging of a few friends and a giant leap of faith, she decided to take the risk and went to school for cosmetology. The rest of the story has been nearly a decade-long journey of dilligent work, starting over in multiple cities, countless treasured relationships, and learning experiences. 

Liz's continuing education comes from some of the very best in the industry...Vidal Sassoon, Kerastase, Bumble & Bumble, Oribe, Goldwell, and Joico to name a few. She credits most of her skills to the very patient and talented mentors who inspired her to her own style of hairdressing and encouraged her confidence within a world of cutthroat competition. 

Currently, Liz resides in Columbia, MD. She enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and tiny dog, working out, trying new restaurants, cooking/baking, watching sports, listening to music, and shopping at Total Wine and TJ Maxx.
